Re: Presenting the UGLIEST bathroom.........See if you can beat it :)
Wow, and I thought I had the worst bathrooms ever!
This was our 1940s original... plastic wall tiles and all!
And our "his" bathroom to compliment the "hers" above:
The pink has been gutted and redone, the blue will get the same treatment at the end of this month!

Re: Presenting the UGLIEST bathroom.........See if you can beat it :)
These are some pretty bad bathrooms. Stacey...my sister has a bathroom just like yours...and she LIKES it!
OK, look out EvenEdan, here's mine...
And before I post it, I want you all to know that this was the "2nd" of the 2.5 bathrooms according to our seller. Yes, that's right...our main bathroom; our half bath on the first floor and THIS?!?
Full bathroom...you might ask. YES because here's the "shower!"

Guess you didn't seen my pepto pink bathroom before we re-did it?? The toilet, the sink, the bathtub, the floor tiles, the wall tiles, etc. were all a hideous shade of pink!

I have no idea. Believe it or not, I never even knew that toilet existed before last month...and we've been living here for 4.5 years! We're in the process of finishing the basement only now...so all the disgusting-ness was revealed!!

Is the rest of the house wood? It just seems random to have one wood room. Besides bathrooms have so much moisture, wood doesn't seem to be the best material.
Right???? It must be so moldy I cannot wait to redo it!! The rest of the house was wood too. We took it all down, just cant afford the bathroom right now.
My downstairs bathroom is pannelling and blue porcelain ha ha

hahaha yea i love the ugly threads, it makes me feel a bit better because all you see are "pefect" houses all the time. I keep explaining to my cousin most people don't buy all new or mint conditioned houses and to get it out of his head and the ones that do are lucky.

Eirann, I think you got me beat! Though I have a 1/2 bathroom in the basement that looks a lot like yours.

It's not that bad. Minus the yellow is is cute. My MBR has a 1/2 bath and the tiles and the toilet are a LIME GREEN. Since we rent it's staying that way

Mine was uglier.
Light blue fixtures, with fish stickers. Old formica vanity. Tiled walls that- and this give me the win- were PAINTED. Not just painted, but painted in the most vivid shade of baby poop green EVER.

Wow, I'm glad to see we're not alone. This thread is cool.
This was our "2nd" bathroom (although nothing worked in it). DH just ripped it all out...one day we'll replace it (its in our mudroom off the garage, so its not in a main house area).
Scary shower
Gotta love the purple toilet & sink & how bout that wallpaper??!

Re: Presenting the UGLIEST bathroom.........See if you can beat it :)
Before DH and I were engaged and looked around for appts together, we had our heart set on the city.... obviously VERY expensive.
We looked at one apartment that had a tub/shower in the kitchen!!!!!!!! And, it had no toilet- if you needed to go, there was a communal one in the hallway, just like in college!!
