So last night at 9 pm, I ate a whole pineapple
And you know what happened at 2 am.
MY WATERS BROKE. Thats right. With a big pop and a gush.
I never saw so much fluid come out of one ladies front bottom!
So at 2 am, I had to wake up my 4 year old son, wake up my BFF Rosemary, take him OVER to Rosemary's house, say goodbye to him, go to the hospital, get all checked in etc....
And its now 12.45, do I have a baby? No.
My waters have broke, and I am not in labor.
So, I have been sent home and will go back in tomorrow morning at 6 am for an induction.
Whopedeedoo.
But apparently, that old wives tale about eating fresh pineapple, it works!
(OMG just realised this said HATE a whole pineapple, I actually ATE it)

Rachel first of all you are hysterical (but you know that already!) and second of all YAYAYAY! So excited that your little one will be here so soon! I've been MIA from the boards with my little munchkin but thinking of you and wishing you all the very best.
P.S. I went with your advice of months ago and got the bugaboo, btw, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it. You were totally right about everything.

I ate a ton of pineapple the week I went into labor too. I ended up going a week early!
I believe in the power of pineapple!!!

If I did that I would be in the hospital anyways..I am HIGHLY allergic to pineapple! HA

I tried to do that once and then my face blew up! Not a great way to find out you're allergic to pineapple.

I have been wondering about this pineapple thing, seems like its only supposed to make water break, but you have to get induced anyway, wouldn't doctor allow want you to be induced anyway at some point?
