A pregnancy vent. Please bear with me because you will hardly ever hear me complain!

Trust me, I have had almost pregnancy complaints ever, so, if I'm complaining, I'm PI$$ED!

So, I was forced to tell my SIL about the pregnancy since we were booked for massages yesterday at Red Door. Obviously, I had to switch mine (and I got a facial instead.) and she would have noticed, so I told her about the baby...earlier than I would have liked. I told her over the phone and said, "Don't tell the boys, please (she's got three teenage sons)." Fine. See ya Saturday.

We arrived at their house, and two of the three boys were right there as my BIL greets me with, "Congratulations about the thing we're not supposed to know about." Oh yes, and did I mention that I have small DC myself...who we're not telling until maaaybe 12 weeks...and who were standing right there. Yeah.

After the spa, we all go out to dinner where my BIL starts in again. "So, what gender are you hoping for?" My DH cut him off by switching the topic. Well, when that topic was over, BIL looks right at me and said, "So where were we? Yes, what gender are you REALLY hoping for?" I just said, "I'm very uncomfortable with the conversation...one of the little ones is pretty perceptive. Let's drop it."

Then ten minutes later, he says, "Forgetting the thing we're not supposed to be talking about...would you ever want twins?" I wanted to freaking knock him out right there. He turned to DH and said, "I guess I'll be the big topic of conversation on the ride home." Uhhhh YEAH!

Oh I would be pizzed! She was completely out of line blowing you up like that.

I imagine this is your DH's family since they are both ILs-your DH should talk to them and explain that this is very sensitive and you are upset they leaked, because Lord knows who else they will tell!
