Think DS Might Be Mixing Up Day and Night!
He started a new formula two days ago and is sleeping so well during day - we had to wake him up before because he hadn't eaten in four hours - not like him! Not as good at night - what to do if I think he's mixing up? We make noise around him during day already - keep things dark and quiet at night. Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Re: Think DS Might Be Mixing Up Day and Night!
A good friend of mine went against the old adage "never wake a sleeping baby" and advised me to NEVER let him sleep more than 3 hrs during the day.
It worked like a charm for us.
I always had to wake him to eat and sometimes had to tickle him to keep him awake through the meal (I didn't nurse and didn't consider it a "meal" unless it was 3 oz). Once we hit 11pm, then I'd let him go for as long as he would. He was completely sleeping through the night (11pm-7am) by 9 weeks. HTH

THanks for the input, Deb. I do wake him up during the day. It's rare he'll sleep so long that we have to wake him during the day - today was first time.

maybe once you start a bedtime routine it will help. Bath, book, bottle, bed. The he'll start to learn what night is????
Who knows really! I swear they just have little minds of their own!
