thats too pricey for me, but they are really nice! you could always consiter getting 2 or 3 of them and use them for serving dishes. biscuts or cheese and crackers... it could be cute

Re: Would you spend $25 on ONE dinner plate? Or is this normal?
I'd spend that if the plate comes with food on it .
Actually, I think my everyday dishes were sort of up there in price. I knew that I would not use the fine china very often so I wanted everyday stuff that would look nice enough if we just didn't want to bother with the china when entertaining. So far, what we got seems to be very durable and look really nice.

yes I would and have.
but I LOVE to cook and I love plates.
and spend a lot of time on my meals..I am not putting them on any random plate.
I'd buy 6 of those (we are a family of 3).
but yeah, where is the plate from? who makes it? that would play into my decision.

I think it all depends on how comfortable you are with purchasing a $25 plate. If you love it and you can afford it, i say go for it!

I wouldn't spend that.
If you like the dish- maybe buy one and use it as a decorative piece (hang it on the wall or on a stand)
I agree
