So now that I am 31

I think I need a wrinkle creamChat Icon

I have crows feet and I am even noticing that my eyelids are not as tight as they once were.

Can you please recommend a good wrinkle cream that is not a fortune and maybe oil free b/c I have pretty sensitive skin and can break out very easily.

TIA

I'm 31 too. During the day I use regular Oil of Olay for Sensitive skin and at night I use the Night of Olay. So far it seems to be working. One time I went to get a facial and the lady doing it had such beautiful skin at almost 60!! She said one of her secrets was drinking a lot of water.

Maybe try the RoC products that have retinol - you can find them in drug stores.

You should check out Avon. They have a huge line of creams that target aging. Not too expensive!

Fm me if you'd like me to send you a free catalog!

PLEASE ladies....start the wrinkle creams before you're in your 30s!!! Take good care of your skin your whole life! I am learning the hardway now too...I have pale, freckly skin and I tried to tan, but only burned, my whole life. My Mom always told me to watch the sun, but I didn't learn. I am trying lots of products now. I've used a bunch of SkinCeuticals serums, Retinol cream, a night cream, and I'm putting aquaphor around my eyes because I can't find anything moist enough.

I couldn't agree more. I started taking serious care of my skin starting around age 20/21. I stopped tanning at 25, and have never been a big drinker. I'm turning 31 in 2 weeks, and I don't look it at all (not that 31 is old by any means) but I get told every day that I look like I'm in my early 20's.

Skinceuticals has amazing stuff as well.

Re: So now that I am 31

I started to wear moisturizer in my early 20s to prevent under eye wrinkles. Currently I am using Lancome Primordiale and the night version too. When I was younger I was told to never wipe the moisturizer on for under the eye, but rather take the tip of your finger and dab because the skin under your eye is so delicate that the dragging motion will end up negating the effects of the moisturizer. I have also heard that oily skin and being larger will help with decreasing wrinkels.

I started using SPFlotion when I was 18 . For years I have been using lotions with antioxidants in it. I also have been using an eye cream for years now , bc my under eye skin gets so dry and I get dark circles.
It also depends what kind of skin you have, people with oily/combination skin get wrinkles and lines later on than people with dry skin. Also people with fair skin tend to get lines and wrinkles earlier in life than people with darker skin.
(I don't mean people who drink a lot and tan a lot.....)
I just posted in the other thread, but I have been using Olay regenerist lotion for a while now, and Loreal revitalift eye cream (has retinol in it), LOVE both. I also use Neutrogena healthy skin moisturizer 1-2 x a week (my derm recommended it) , it has alpha hydroxy in it so it exfoliates your skin, I put it on all over my face/eyes. I also never use anything harsh on my skin, scrubs and stuff like that, never.

I use a loreal product. I got the clinique for eyes only as a free gift so when loreal is done, I'm using that.

Make sure your face cream/lotion has an SPF of 25 or higher! Also, any time you're going out in the sun wear sunscreen! You'll be glad you did in 10 years!
