What are your upcoming home projects?
For us, we're starting today with officially moving my DD to her new bedroom. After that, I'll need to paint her old bedroom to make it our soon-to-be DS's room. Over my spring break at the end of March, my dad's going to redo our half-bath, which I'm so excited about. We're doing a minor face-lift. Nothing too crazy, a new toilet, pedestal sink, peel and stick floor and bead board on the walls. And calling it a day. Or two Those are our last big projects around here until the summer. Other than that, some small projects I want to get done are adding a bi-fold door at the top of my basement steps so I can lock my cats down at night and repurpose a table I have in my guest room right now. I want to paint it and skirt it and use it to hide my laundry basket under.
So what's on everyone else's list?

Have you checked out Patchogue? I'm telling you, we love it here and there was just an article in the paper about how we're an up and coming area, especially with all the new art and music studios being built. Oh, and the new YMCA

We are looking out this way to be close to our church and Ray's job. Plus, his parents just bought a house (today in fact!) in this area to be by us and to help with the kids.

Re: What are your upcoming home projects?
I have a list a mile long.....most are things we need to finish since we started the house gut job - finish installing the appliances - finish all the molding work in the house - stain/paint new stairs - railing for new stairs - re-do bathroom - remove paneling and flooring in spare room.
Then when the weather changes the yard work starts.
Im sure we have a million other projects but this is just off the top of my head

Re: What are your upcoming home projects?
At the moment we have ordered material for several projects, hopefully we will be starting something soon.
Installing new exterior basement stairs
finishing part of the unfinished side near the new stairs
moving the laundry room, getting new machines
Building a new window bay with seat in our great room, this also entails changing our roof.
We are also planning on gutting our master bathroom, but that probably isn't happening in the near future.

Peel and stick tile, like no grouting, just peel it and stick it down. It's vinyl and yes, I'm being lazy because I just want it all done in one weekend. It looks like tile, though

Closets - in the new baby's room and our Master bedroom.
Then I need to decorate/pick a theme for the playroom. I'll be asking advice soon if I ever get around to taking pictures of the space!

Re: What are your upcoming home projects?
if we don't find a new house... move our room to the upstairs guest bedroom/office, move office to basement, and set up our old room as the twins nursery.

Re: What are your upcoming home projects?
We have to:
Re-do the plumbing and the bathroom upstairs (we don't use upstairs right now, but will once DS is born in August).
We have two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. When the upstairs was redone (we live in an expanded ranch), we believe they took part of the attic and converted half of it to the two bedrooms and bath. Right now in each bedroom there is only one electrical outlet and no electrical outlet in the bathroom. So we also need to redo the electrical upstairs as well.
We have quite a few other things we need to do, but this is priority.

Re: What are your upcoming home projects?
We just finished a huge basement project- we turned our two car garage into a bonus room with half bath. We still have some odds and ends to finish up down there. Once we recoup from that, I think we're going to gut our masterbath. It's not a very big space so we're hoping we can do it fairly reasonably. And I also bought a new bedding set for DS and we will do a little update in his room at some point.

Re: What are your upcoming home projects?
long list: - finish front entryway. (new molding around new front door, paint molding). finish base molding and paint step risers.
- laundry room. full remodel.
- have the driveway, walkways, stoop pavered.
- new front gate/fence. PVC.
- new stoop railings.
- backyard needs to be complete done. grass, plants, etc. maybe new deck or pavers to replace deck.
that's it for this year I think.

Re: What are your upcoming home projects?
We bought our house 6 months ago and we have a TON of projects. We need to do the crown molding in the living room and dining room, finish painting EVERY surface in the house. (really, who uses semi-gloss on the ceiling???? It is such a pain to paint over) install new floor in the kitchen, and maybe a new back splash and counter, we have to redo the basement, install a fence and I don't even know what to do with a yard in the spring. I have a feeling we wont be done this year.
