JHS Ladies...
Where do you go? Top Point? Hair Club IB?
I've used Top Point three times, and each time was worse than the previous. I'll be going in spring and my hair is pretty much all grown out so I'm not too concerned about frying.
I'd love to hear reviews for any places, but not looking to spend more than $250.
TIA

Re: JHS Ladies...
I've only had a good experience the first time I went, and after that it's been all downhill for me and my hair. I went to Hair Village in Feb 08 for the first time and it came out amazing. Then when I went back it came out ok so I decided to try New Mode in Plainview. That also came out not so good. So this August I went to Hair Club IB and while it seemed nice enough, I've had nothing but breakage and I've had to cut off about 6 inches of dead, fried hair...the girl who cuts my hair said that they overprocessed it I know that I probably went one too man times for the JHS, but still, I think that they would've known how long to keep the chemicals on.

I've been to Top Point twice and Hair Club IB twice. I had great experiences at both, but prefer Hair Club IB because it is cheaper, and Ilike the free valet parking!

Re: JHS Ladies...
I feel like after a while your hair just can't take it
My hair has so much breakage now
I used to be able to sleep on it- wake up and have perfect hair...now I take "bed head" to a new level
I went to top point, then hair club ib. It's been 7 years since I started and I am giving my hair a break and getting brazilian this spring :(

I totally agree with you here...after a while I think your hair just can't handle it anymore...

I've only been doing the JHS for 4 years and at TP, but I've been considering stopping the process. My hair is shot. It helps control the frizzies, but I still have to blow dry my hair to make it straight and I'm not really happy with the way the ends are so pin straight.
I've actually been considering getting a body wave or perm (if my hair can handle it) so I can let my curly hair grow back in. I kind of miss the curls.

Re: JHS Ladies...
By the time I get it done again it will be almost 2 years - so the hair will be untreated beforehand. I hope I have a good experience like I did the first time. I just can't take drying and straightening my hair anymore, and the brazilian won't solve my problems.
Thanks for the info ladies
