Glass Tile

We're redoing our bathroom and want to do a glass tile border/backsplash.
Anyone know of where to go for a good price/selection? In store or online?

We went to Cancos, but their prices are through the roof.

Re: Glass Tile

We got ours at old country tile. We got recycled glass from England that was 9.99 a square foot which I thought was really reasonable.

That sounds like a good price.
Everything we liked at Cancos was $30-35.
We found regular tile for a reasonable price, but not glass.

Thanks guys. I'll check out Old Country Tile and Porcelanosa.

We went to HD and World Tile. HD price was $9.99 sq and World Tile for the SAME EXACT TILE was $50 sq. If you find a speciific tile see if you can order it through HD and get a cheaper price.

Re: Glass Tile

We plan on doing a glass tile back splash and a contractor told me to use wonderboard behind the tile instead of sheet rock.

Re: Glass Tile

What exactly are you looking for (color, size, how much, etc)? We bought some glass mosaic tile that we never used during our renovation. Not much, but enough for a border/backsplash. We'd sell cheap!

That would be great!
I'm not sure exactly how much we need. We're meeting with our contractor on Saturday to find that out.
We want to do like an accent wall.

Our tile won't work for you then. We were thinking more spa like, with white tile and the glass (light blue) tile. Good luck with your reno!

Can your contracter/tiler buy it for you? Where I live, at the tiling store, I can pick out what tiles I want, and my contractor actually purchases it for me, its 40% off. This seems to be the standard.
