Question about 12 month bloodwork
Do you know what they test the blood for in NY at their 12 month appt? I ask because everyone I know from NY said the blood is taken from their arm. Here in NC it was just a finger prick and they only tested his hemoglobin and lead levels. I was wondering if they test for more in NY and if I need to request extra tests be done, especially since he needs another prick at his 15 month appt since his iron levels were low this time.

I believe it's iron and something called HCC--something...
DD just had hers done the other day...

My DS had a whole CBC workup and lead level and I want to say something else but I cant remember

The only thing they did at our ped was lead levels, and the blood was taken from their fingers.
