decorating ? for those with ranch homes

DH and I would like to change up what we have on the walls in our home. We have a hallway that leads to the bathroom and bedrooms in our ranch style home. If you have a home like this, what do you have on your walls?

K, I don't have a ranch but I can give you some suggestions. What do you currently have? you can make a wall of BW family pictures with the same style frames; use scones; shadow boxes (of favorite moments)a favorite print of something that you and Stefan love (nature, beach etc).
The following stores have great items for walls and idea depending on your style PB, pier one, crate and barrel, and kohls to name a few.

well right now we have one wall of a print we bought on our honeymoon. On another wall we have 3 collage pictures that are outdated (both style and picutres are outdated). Then across from that we have the thermostat in the center of the wall o there isn't anything hanging up there b/c we don't know how to hide the thermostat.

We can't really do sconces because the hallway is narrow and you'd hit your head on them when you walk by. So, whatever we get would have to lay flat. I'd like to print some pictures of Daniel in black and white and hang them up.

We're just tired of what we have up now.

I give you an example. I have a wall of BW pictures of us and Aidan (first year) and Nikos dad holding AIdan as he only got to see him for a couple months. And, I love that wall...lol I am currently working on another wall...doing the same since they are on the same side but separated by a window. The pics are 5x7 with the same style frames. The frames do added up after a while......lol. I think that the thermostat will be lost since the pics will be the focus. HTH
