If your DC has an egg allergy and you use Cherrybrook Kitchen baking products...
how the heck do you get the icing on the cupcakes?
I am making cupcakes for DS's nursery school class tomorrow and one of the girls has an egg allergy. The cupcakes came out fine. But I opened the icing and it is not easy to get on the cupcakes...I did one and it fell apart. The icing is almost like glue
Is there any other icing that is egg free?

I usually use Dunkin Hines Whipped Fluffy White frosting, it spreads so much easier. It's dairy, peanut and egg free. Pretty sure has soy and maybe tree nuts.

I have no idea what this icing is or is like, but I have used some icings in the past that are just too sticky and I found that by throwing them in the microwave for like 10 seconds or so, it has made it a bit thinner and easier to spread. Just start with like 5 secs and work your way up if you have to. Every micro is different and I dont want you ruining your icing!

Oh great...it's egg free? She is allergic to eggs so this would work great.

I'll go check it right now against a list from the Food Allergy Network to be 100% sure. BRB....
ETS: OK, just checked and it's def. egg free.

If my icing is too thick, i put it in a ziplock and then cut the corner of the bag and the warmth from my hands ends up softening the icing and I squirt it onto the cupcakes.
