I went to a sweet 16 there a while back...it was nice back then, not sure what it is like now. Have you been there to look? I would think it would be a nice place for a christening.

Had my wedding there last year...highly recommend. Great staff, food was out of this world. Very reasonable prices. I worked with Linda...she was very nice & helpful.

Re: your thoughts on the coral house
I've been there for both a wedding and a Christening. It's nice, staff is nice, and it's affordable. In the winter, they decorate really pretty for Christmas

Re: your thoughts on the coral house
To be honest, I'm not a big fan. I don't care much for the food, there is always so many things going on at once and the last few events I have been to they crowded way too many people into the rooms we were in. Its just my opinion and the impression I got lately. On the other hand I think its beautiful, especially during the holidays and I have been to some really nice things there, but that was yrs ago.

Re: your thoughts on the coral house
DH and I went to a wedding there a few years ago, and we were far from impressed. If I remember correctly, the food was terrible and we actually went to the diner afterward...

Me too. We liked it alot. And our guests still talk about our wedding there. Everyone has an opinion. Some halls are pretty but food is crap. Some halls are smaller and have good food and service. Some are great all around.

I agree with there being too many things going on at once. My mom got married there 10+ years ago and it didnt have that feel but when my stepsis did 5 yrs ago it felt overwhelming. But a wedding is a lot different than a christening and I dont think that would bother me for a christening at all.
I actually had my baby shower there though and it was great. I don't remember anything about the food but to be honest, I never pay much attention to that.

this is how Dh and I felt after his cousin's wedding there 2 years ago. But, I think every place can have an off night and everyone has different standards.
