Area Rug Under or Not?
Is your area rug underneath your furniture or do you expose some of the wood floor? If so how much? I know it depends on the room dimensions but, just a general ?

I have no area rugs because of my dogs but if I did, I think I'd have 12-18" around my furniture.

I like my area rugs under my furniture. It can just be a few inches under. For LR I like the front legs of my sofas on the area rug.

my area rug is under the legs of the couch and the tv stand. I tried to get as big an area rug as possible for my living room.
