Added Cabinet Hardware in Kitchen with Pics
This weekend we got some knobs and pulls for our kitchen cabinets. We picked out an oil rubbed bronze style from Lowes. It cost us less than $100 but I think it makes a nice improvement in the kitchen.
We also changed out the hardware on our doors (before the knobs and hinges were brushed nickel) now they are oil rubbed bronze as well.
Here's a throwback from when we first moved in:
As of this week with cabinet hardware:
A view of the doors with the new hinges/knobs - I think the dark looks much better throughout our house:
I found a distressed black pub table that I love but it's unavailable right now - hopefully it becomes available again so I can order it with 4 matching stools - 2 for the table and 2 for the breakfast bar...I am dying to have an "eat in" space in our kitchen and I love this set - right now we have a round wicker bistro set that is too small to actually be useful...
We also have to add a backsplash at some point - we've been putting that project off for awhile 
And of course I need some cute accessories and decor here and there...
Just wanted to share our progress  hopefully we get it finished sometime soon

love how it looks. i really like the rubbed bronze -- is that the correct term? i just love that color hardware. the appliances look stunning! very nice and the doorknobs to match looks so clean!

ETA: Nik...I also love your appliances, it really changes the whole look of the kitchen.

Looks awesome it makes such a huge difference! I think we have the same knobs/pulls too... love the oil rubbed bronze look. A white subway tile backsplash would look GREAT!

it's funny that you say that about the backsplash b/c we originally wanted to do subway tile - it's my husband's favorite - he loooves white subway tiles - but after we painted we were both thinking of doing a glass tile instead - something with reds and browns in it...then after we put the knobs on i was thinking about white subway tiles again!
i want to get a nice furniture set for in there and then once we do that i'll have to post for some backsplash ideas
