Appliances: Same Brand
Is it important to have the same brand for all kitchen appliances or does it not matter? It just happens that all the kitchen appliances (except for the fridge) are Kitchen-Aid. We are in the market for a new fridge and wondering if we should get a Kitchen-Aid fridge.

Re: Appliances: Same Brand
I personally think its more important that they all match- i.e. all stainless, black, white- whatever

Re: Appliances: Same Brand
We have all GE appliances (dishwasher, microwave, oven, cooktop) and an LG fridge.
I don't think they have to be the same brand.

Re: Appliances: Same Brand
We have all different brands. As long as they have similar styles and are the same color I think it’s fine!

Re: Appliances: Same Brand
Well ours don't match at all and won't until we redo the kitchen, but I agree with the previous posters - being all the same style would matter more to me than the brand.

Re: Appliances: Same Brand
i did all the same brand in all the same finish - i am anal and wanted everything to look like a set....i think that the finish matching is more important than everything being the same brand...

Re: Appliances: Same Brand
We are in the process of renovating our kitchen now and we picked all different brands. There is literally not one matching brand in our entire kitchen. I chose each appliance based on reliability and performance and just because Company X makes a good fridge doesn't mean they make the best range etc.

This is what I heard that you should look at the brands best for each appliance. I agree that they should all be the same finish though.

Re: Appliances: Same Brand
our kitchen has all different brands. We picked ours based on the features of each appliance/cost as opposed to the brand.
