Beth-Glinda goodwitch
The coat that Robin wore on How I met your mother....I found something very similar today at Marshalls. It is guess and it was on sale for $80 instead of the $900 burberry wanted! Thought I would pass the info on, I bought it in grey. They had red and other colors too!!!

OMG, I've never been singled out in a post before! 
That is so cool! Can you post a pic? We have Marshalls here in MD, but I fear the inventory is probably very different.

How is the fit? Does the bottom sort of puff out like Robin's coat?

It doesn't puff out AS much I would say but looks very similar. It fits very nicely, and looks great! They didn't have white in the store, and now that Iam looking at it online, I want the white! Oh well, lol. Still better than paying $900 for the burberry one, right?

What color did you wind up ordering? The main difference is that it is almost like a rain/trench coat, and the one Robin wore looked like a heavy wool. It is definatly a spring/fall coat-not a winter one.

DH told me the same thing-he wouldn't let me get white for the fear of me slobbing it up!!! lol
