Camila Alves Opens Up About The 40 Day Sex Ban She's Placed On Matthew McConaughey
Matthew McConaughey has been banned from having sex for 40 days.
The actor’s partner Camila Alves gave birth to the couple’s second child, daughter Vida, three weeks ago and she has told him he has to wait until they can make love again.
"Where I come from - Brazil - we believe in something we call a 40-day break after the baby. You have to let your body do its own thing. You give it time to recover and let everything settle down.
"You kind of respect all the hard work your body has just done and give it a break. For these 40 days, you really take it easy. By that I mean no sex, light and healthy food, no trips to the gym. Then, after 40 days, you are good to go."
That sounds about right. America's standard is 6 weeks right?. At least, that's what my circle of friends and I have been told by our OBGYNs.
Camila can't wait for her 40 days to be up because she is dying to work out again! She told Stylist.com:
“I confess, I am getting a little anxious to work out. I miss it. Not just to get my body back in shape, but for me, for my head!"

And she acts like SHE invented the 40 day sex ban after giving birth.

Glad she came up with the 40 days sex free.
Too bad it's not news here in the US. We just talk in WEEKS.
