oatmeal and milk production-- what kind do you eat?

I have read a ton about how eating oatmeal can help milk production when nursing... for those of you who have done this, what kind of oatmeal do you eat? do you eat it plain, or have any recipes you want to share? the only oatmeal I have ever had is the instant kind that comes in flavors... would those work?
