Decorators please come in.......
Please help!
I am finally at the stage where I would like to decorate the walls of my dinning room.
My dinning room is BM Tuscan Red.
My chairs and mini-china cabinet are cherry wood.
My curtains are lite green with a faint gold pin stripe.
Would you hang pictures? A shelf? Candle holders?
Any ideas are much appreciated!

what if you did a floor mirror, like this....(obviously not this mirror as it doenst go)
 
or a buffet with a mirror over it?
 
then on the other wall
maybe some wall decor flanked with some decorative plates?

I think some shelves on the left wall would look great... but i'd consider maybe the picture ledges that are very shallow. You don't want shelves sticking too far out in that area.
On the other wall i'd either do a big wall mirror or set of mirrors:

Nice shelves for more decorative storage would be great. Or a buffet with a mirror and sconces on either side of the mirror.

On the long wall I would do a mirror with a burnished gold frame, on the short wall three decorative candle holders at different heights.
