Does anyone use a regular handbag in place of a diaper bag?
If so..do you just load the accessories in the bag?

sometimes. i bought the skip hop changer thing that you can put diapers and wipes in. only for quick trips where you dont need food, but might need to change a diaper.

I did both with DS, but as he got older I tended to use a handbag more and more. I would just throw a few diapers and wipes in there and go. Once he had a seizure at 18 months I went back to the diaper bag because I always had medication on me just in case.

I did after he was about 6 months. I had to upgrade my 'handbags' to 'mom purses'.

I got a big vera bradley bag... It has two littel pockets on the outside for my wallet and phone... and then a few little openings inside where I stick diaper cream, etc. And then I jsut stuff everythign else in as organized as I can

this is what I used. a larger sized vera pocketbook. just for short trips. I used my vera diaper bag for day trips etc though.

I used a diaper bag first year or so, but after that I used mostly my handbag. Now that she is 2 I just use my handbag all the time. Don't remember the last time I used her DB

I just use my everyday bag unless we are going away overnight and I need to pack lots of stuff - then I load up my big tote bag. Otherwise, a few diapers, wipes, diaper cream and baby Tylenol in my purse and I am good to go. I also have a stash of diapers and wipes and a change of clothes in my car if I need them.

I use the diaper bag now, only blc I don't want the bottles spilling in my other bags ........Once I can ditch the bottles, and just carry a sippy or bottle of water, I'll most likely ditch the diaper bag ........although, I DO love my diaper bag

I did after about 6 months when I didn't need as many things. I used the Pod and put diapers, wipes, bib, etc in there and put the rest of the stuff in my handbag.
