neighborhoods in Farmingdale.....
DH and I are looking at houses and have been looking mainly in the Levittown area, but saw a few houses in Farmingdale that we might be interested in.
I was looking for some opinions on what neighborhoods are "better". Specifically the area west of Rt. 110 - South of Rt. 109 off of Main Street.

i like the "Woodward Parkway" area - cute houses, small lots, but well kept.
Nice and close to a GREAT park, too! (Allen park)

I lived in an apt there (on michel ave) rt off of main st and about 2 blocks from 109
I loved the houses in that area and the area itself... If we could have afforded it and the taxes, we would def have stayed!

I just bought in this neighborhood, we are moving in a week.....LOVE IT!
We have been renovating for the month and our neighbors brought over beer and pizza to welcome us....i really didnt think things like that happened on LI.

We live in western f'dale, closer to the turnpike, bethpage pkwy, noth massapequa. My kids will go to northside elementary. I've also lived in south f'dale. I love our neighborhood. I also like the area by main st. near st. luke's...I think it's called prospect pl or st. really cute houses over there.

I love the section that borders the Southern State and Bethpage parkway, its so nice.
