Another spin-off- Subsequent pregnancies did you gain less?
I gained the exact amount w/ DS as DD
Should we go for a 3rd , I am a bit worried since I still have not lost all the baby weight from DC #2 and am currently at the heaviest I have ever been (not pregnant that is )
If you gained less with a subsequent pregnancy, did you do anything differently ?
I really did not over eat or eat super badly, but also did not eat overly healthy...I did have almost 10 lb children but I can't use that excuse forever

Well, I only have two, but with my first I gained 30lbs; with my second 22. I did not do anything differently--except for maybe chasing around a little one under the age of 2. Anyway, if I have a third, hoping to knock off another 8lbs off the total.

I gained about 25 with #1, 20ish with #2 and #3 is not looking too good as far as weight gain. I'm 16 weeks and already up 10 pounds.

Re: Another spin-off- Subsequent pregnancies did you gain less?
I gained much less with #2 because I learned that it is difficult to get the pre-baby body back! With #2 I exercised the entire time and paid close attention to what I was putting in my body.
With #1 it was a Woooo-Hooooo Free For All. I loved every minute of each pregnancy but getting back into my jeans two weeks after delivery felt better than any food in the world.

I gained 12 1/2 lbs with my 1st pregnancy.
This time around I'm at absolutely no weight gain and I'm 33 1/2 weeks. This time around I had m/s for 27 weeks. I ate horribly this time around b/c I would eat whatever I could keep down and generally that consisted of french fries, bread and regular soda.

Re: Another spin-off- Subsequent pregnancies did you gain less?
ds#1 I gained 29lbs (delivered on his due date)
ds#2 I gained 25 lbs (delivered 12 days early)
I'm assuming I would have probably gained around 4 lbs if I went to the due date

DD#1 I gained 50+lbs. DD#2 I gained 32lbs, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes this time and had to follow a strict diet otherwise I would have been on my way to another 50lbs.

Stace, w/ DD I gained 42lbs BUT was on my wedding weight...lowest...
With DS I was heavier than I've ever been (non-prego) & gained 32 lbs...didn't do as much late night eating b/c I had bad heartburn w/ DS.

Re: Another spin-off- Subsequent pregnancies did you gain less?
start to end, I gained 10 pounds less with #2, however, I lost a good 5 pounds in the beginning of #2 due to bad MS...so I guess it was only a 5 pound difference
