Overdue / Still hopeful / BTDT moms - Does this mean anything!!??
Hi Ladies,
I am 3 days past my due date. As of a week ago I was 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Last night I believe I lost my mucus plug before I went to bed. In the middle of the night I woke up with horrible lower back pains. While trying to relieve that pain by walking sitting, leaning, etc. my belly got very hard and I felt a severe cramp in my lower abdomen and my legs. It lasted for around a minute and went away. That only happened once. So I sat down with a pillow and my hands pressed against my back b/c that still was hurting and ended up falling asleep. I woke up 3 hours later with no pain. I am assuming that was a REAL contraction but only 1??? Does this mean anything? So far today I have had some belly tightening but no pain and/or consistency.
I get induced on Monday so I am hoping he comes on his own. Is this any type of sign that I could go by Monday!!??

I hope so!!! Didn't feel any pain all day today. Just a little belly tightening and he is moving like crazy right now!

Do you think you lost all of it? I def think its progress esp since your dilated and effaced. I lost my mucous plug at midnight the morning i was supposed to go in to be induced and then went into labor on my own! Good luck to you!!! I was 9 days overdue!!

I went into labor on my own the night before I was supposed to be induced(gave birth 1 wk overdue-the day I was supposed to be induced). At my 40wk2d appt I was 1.5cm-3 days later I started losing my mucous-the next night I started having contractions every 3-5 minutes...Sounds like you will go before your induction. Good luck!
