help/opinions on rug please!!
we finally got our couch and coffee table last week and i really want to put an area rug under the coffee table but not under the couch. i bought a 5x8 rug today and it looked weird.
i think the best option would be a round or octagon rug..
heres the room: got rid of the pillows shown on the couch.
heres the pillows:

heres the rug im leaning towards:
its 5'3 diameter.. big enough?? there is also a larger size, but im not sure which size i need. i dont know the diameter of the table.. i *think* its about 3 1/2' in diameter..
thought? suggestions?

I don't tend to like a round table on a round rug. does it come in square, because it would go really well?

I agree with Heather. I would stick to rectangular or square. What is it about the one you bought that you don't like?

I agree with Heather. I would stick to rectangular or square. What is it about the one you bought that you don't like?
the rectangle 5x8 was too big, i dont really want it to over hang the area between the sectional.. so maybe square will be the way to go.. now to find one! 
or a much larger rectangle so it goes under the couch... hmm

Good Luck! I'm in the same prediciment. Currently I have a 5x7 in in front of the sectional and it over hangs. I tried turning it the other way but, I didn't like it. Did you try that?
I'm on the hunt for something too but, because of my layout I'm restrained to either a 5x7 5x8 or an 8x10 which I really don't want to do. I'm not fond of the look of couches on top of area rugs.
Have you considered a 4x6? This site has beautiful rugs in this size.

I have a high ranch as well - def. a square or rectangular rug looks better.
