Well for one, FIOS has HGTV and Food Network. Sorry, I'm bitter.

The normal CV speed is 15Mb download and 2Mb upload http://www.optimum.com/online/why/why.jsp
For another $10/month, you can get their "Boost", Which is 30Mb download and 5Mb upload http://www.optimum.com/order/boost/index.jsp
Even with their "boost", it's still slower than FiOS....
The TriplePlay comes with the 15Mb speed connection.

And BBC America! I've been waiting years to get that!
When you go on Cablevision's site they don't make it easy to see how it would compare to those Fios packages. It's $100/month for the Triple Play, but that must be with only the most basic channels, right? And the slower internet. I just want to compare apples to apples here.

Re: FiOS New Prices
We just got $109.99/mo with the 35/35 and showtime.
If we get verizon cell phones which we were planning to it goes down $15/mo.
That's with 3 mos of multi room dvr free.
Add $19.99 and $5.99 for one dvr and one regular hd box after the promo which is still a sweet deal.
Also, the contract is only for one year.
The $15.00 discount with the wireless plan goes for 24 months though.
And we got $150 back.
I thought it made sense. If we hate it we could always switch.
Cablevision sealed the deal last night when we lost all 3 services in the middle of the Jets game.
We got it fixed this morning.
We also got cablevision to give us 3 weeks free service on all three because of it. You should have heard Dh go off on that poor guy.
