WHere do you keep your stereo?
any pics? is it in a peice of furniture, or on top of something? we have a big unit... like a foot to a foot and half tall. unit then two speakers, i am at a loss as to where i can put it and use it and not have to look at it.

WOW! we are totally uncool people. i don't ipod, even though i have one i barely ever use it. putting music on it, is so annoying.
so, when you have a party, how do you play music?

RyeGUY!!! what an amazing transformation. i can't believe you didn't post any befores and afters on here. the bathroom and kitchen are AMAZING!
do share where you got those cabinets from!!
Well.. i don't have the abillity to do what you did in your living room with the stereo, but thanks for sharing. i saw you doing all that work. you did ALOT! holy mackerel!!!

Entertainment unit, next to the TV (in the cabinet above the pink kitty chair  ). That way, it's easy to route the TV through the stereo. Speakers are next to the unit, on top of it, and the rear ones are surface mounted in the ceiling behind the couch. Image Attachment(s):

our stereo is really tiny and we put it in the entertainment unit because it fits.
but these days everyone has ipods and uses the ipod docks. lol
maybe put it next to the entertainment unit. do you have any pics to see what the stereo and speakers look like?

us too, we both have an ipod and have maybe used each of them 5 times......I find them annoying and a PITA.
We have a large armoire in our room and our stereo is on top of it. In the LR, we use the DVD player which is hooked up to the surround sound.

It's been in the garage since we moved in.  I got it right after college and don't have the heart to get rid of it. My parents bought it for me when I got my first place. It's Kenwood and I remember it being $$$ at the time.
We have a Bose iPod speaker in the house.

i am thinking of just getting the sirius / xm boom box thing. it just annoys me that they want you to run the wire outside of your home.

No stereo. We have an iPod dock for the receiver, PS3 can connect to Pandora which I have an account for, and have MusicChoice channels on the tv.
The receiver, PS3, iPod dock are all on/in our media console under the TV. Three speakers are on top of the console, subwoofer hidden next to it, and 2 speakers behind the couch.

In our TV stand
However, like others have said, it hardly gets used any more. We use our IPods, satellite radio on Direct TV and Pandora through our Blue Ray player 99.9% of the time.
