Oil Delivery
Just called for an oil delivery and its so expensive, this homeownership thing is crazy!!! $2.63 gallon!!

Yes, it is. We just got an oil delivery the end of Novermber for about $450, and since it's been cold, we need another one already this month.   Fun, isn't it?

We had a delivery in September and another one at the end of December. Both times, it was around $450. DH thinks it's nuts, but I know people who have their tanks refilled almost MONTHLY. Yikes!

Yep our tank gets filled monthly. We have high celings and two floors.
My next house is going to be a 3 bedroom luxury condo.

2.63 a gallon, thats seems good to me.
We have PETRO and had a delivery last week, we hit our ceiling price of 3.05 a gallon.
I called out of curiosity to see what the actual was, and it was up to 3.19 a gallon without the plan.
I don't think its gone down the past week?
Anyone else around this price range, or is PETRO being outrageous with 3.05?

When I had called one company they said with a contract it was 2.94 a gallon. We appear to be on the once a month fill too, this is CRAZY!!!

We're locked in at $2.89.
Our house is like living in a strainer, it's so drafty - we've gone through 2 tanks of oil so far this winter - weach delivery was no less tna $600.

My husband works for Slomins and is currently selling it for 2.79 per gallon fixed price or a variable for 2.54 which I personally would never do!

ETA: The company is JC Discount Fuel, 631-732-4800. It was $2.459 actually 
DH suggested looking in the Pennysaver if you're going to get a COD oil delivery.
