Area Rugs

Any reccs on where to get an area rug? We went to the Macys clearance center and I didn't realize how expensive they are, but am willing to pay for a quality rug?

Look online Target, Walmart, overstock, homedecorators, also try the ruminants they sell at HD and Lowe's.


I love the way rugs make a room feel, but they gross me out, I never feel they are clean. And between a dog, and our 13 nieces / nephews running around we replace ours often, so I try to keep them cheap.
I bought one from Target that I L.O.V.E. that was 70 bucks! 5x8

We have three utility area rugs by our doors we bought from Lowes, one under our bed and a runner in our bedroom from Lowes, and a decorative one in the living room we got from Target.

We are happy with all of them, not one complaint. They were not that expensive compared to Macys which we looked at first also.

Homegoods. It is hit or miss, but the prices are fantastic for the quality and size!

we bought ours from overstock and they are great! do pay attention to the reviews on there though-- they really tell you a lot about the rugs (color discrepancies, shedding, etc). All in all, we got 4 area rugs plus a runner for just about $1000.
