April girls...

Is anyone else getting extremely anxious/overwhelmed? I still have to finish the nursery which DH completely gutted and is in the middle of construction, register, and organize the entire house. I feel like i should start stocking up on baby supplies too. And on top of all of that- annual reviews/reports are due for work then parent teacher conferences and i wanna shoot myself.

I get a little panicky sometimes because I have about 12 weeks left and no nursery. I also have stuff to wrap up at work but my boss won't give me a list of the projects he wants finished. I'm also antsy because I want to buy baby stuff but my shower is not until February and I dont' want to buy things I'll just get as gifts. I feel like she's so close to coming, yet it's too soon to do anything real!

Not really. Probably only because this is my 2nd child. Now I realize that everything doesn't have to be 100% by the time the baby gets here, I know what I really need in the beginning, what can wait, etc....

I started panicking today. I haven't registered, we have a small place so I really need to think about what we are really registering for. I haven't picked a godmother which in DH's family is the one that handles the baby shower. I'm still not even organized from my move out east this summer. On top of that I leave to work at 6:30am and don't get home until 7:30pm and don't feel like doing anything becasue work has been so busy and killer and my commute is just taking it's toll on me already!

Ohhhh and I still have to go to Social Security to change my last name officially!!!

I'm ok so far. We haven't started the nursery yet, but we only have to paint/wallpaper and carpet. We registered a few weeks ago, so that's done.

And we have yet to pick names! I kind of keep "forgettting" that we have to do that. We hardly even talk about it.

I am totally getting freaked out. We registered on 1/1, but I want to get the furniture ordered an started working on her room. I have to check out ped, choose a cord blood registry and I know there is more that I am missing

Not really. I figure all I really need when the baby comes is:

-a place for him/her to sleep (it will be next to my bed in a bassinet- which I have)
-food for him/her to eat
-clothes for him/her to wear
-diapers
-My BIL to move out

Of course, I would like the room to be done- but it's not NECESSARY

im not so much freaked out. i am a little anxious about the birth itself.. i need to decide if i want a shower or just a small lunch with my closest friends. everyday i change my mind lol and i feel like im never going to get to register

I am very overwhelmed...only since I started to register and everyday coming on here seeing my countdown slowly go down makes me panic more...So far I still have too...

-Finish nursery(its under construction)
-Finish registery
-Find a daycare
-Clean out our bedroom to make room for the bassinet

With DH working so much during tax season..I don't know how any of this is going to get done without his help.

i didnt realize it was getting soooo close!

we still have to figure out daycare stuff (or what we're doing).

i FINALLY changed my name at the dmv...which was wayyy overdue.

im nervous about having enough time to attend the various showers (we have to split them up cuz of family)...whilllle also finishing school on sundays up until the end of march!

Gabby! I'm due in April and I'm feeling the SAME way! Are you by any chance, a Special Education Teacher? I am, and had 7 AR's today!!! I finally feel like I can take a breath and start thinking about this baby!!! I need to do sooo much! I 'm with ya!

I am a special ed. teacher. I did all my testing in Dec. but have to write my lovely 4 page reports on each kid (I have 10) by Feb. Then starts parent teacher conferences and annual reviews. I would so much rather be focusing on more important things like my baby

I am getting mixed emotional feelings. Sometimes I will wake up in the morning at 3am and will think to mysel oh ok, i can go back to sleep. But then i think about what it will be like in a few months and then I panic a little. MY DH is wonderful with kids so I know that he will be a very hands on dad. Well, except for during the night b/c he doesn't wake up for anything.

I've started to get a little anxious in the past week or so. Just because my countdown is now at 84 days and that's not really much! I'm due the 3rd of April, so I can't even count April! We haven't started on the nursery yet. This weekend we will put away Christmas stuff and clean out the nursery. Then Dh will begin the work. We need to replace the floor and paint. Furniture is ordered, we registered, shower should be in late Feb.
I've just been getting nervous about the birth and then having a newborn! EEEEK

I work at a special ed preschool so I work with all the districts on the island

Yes! I have not done a thing. We are house hunting, so I will not order any furniture until I know what's going on. I haven't picked bedding. The first time around DD's room was already painted. I can't really do anything until we get a house.
