remember my tenant?
If I didn't think he was psycho before, I know now.
DH finally got him to answer his phone and he told him that he has terminal cancer and he can't talk right now.
So when will you be able to talk, when you're dead?
If you think I'm being callous, I'm not.
This guy would fake his own death to get out of paying me rent.

i haven't been following your story closely, but have you gotten a judgement or anything against him?
it's time to get the sherif to physically evict this low life!
my dh used to intern at a landlord/ tenant lawfirm. they are in mineola. if you want their info, let me know.

It's in AZ and I spoke to a lawyer and we are on it.
I can't post here for obvious reasons what the next steps aer. you just never know who is watching.
But this is being addressed. Every email and letter we have sent has gone unread and unaccepted.
Now the lawyers are handling it.
This guy is psycho!

Honestly, even if he DOES have terminal cancer, that is no excuse for how he has treated you the past 2 years. I hope this gets resolved quickly

True. Even the lawyer laughed when I said that he thinks paying rent is optional.
Look, if he's sick, that's fine, I hope he can live the rest of his life comfortably, but dude, I wasn't born last night.
I wish so much that I could sell this place. I am a reluctant landlord. I never wanted this.

The lawyer also said that they have done 1600 writs and evictions last year. AZ was hit hard.
