Wait, I thought as of a couple of years ago you needed a SS # to register for college?...nevermind getting Financial Aid...
It can depend on the college -- some will accept an ITIN instead of a SS #.
Heck I've seen clients come into my office who have obtained bank accounts and purchased HOMES using just an ITIN. (I have no idea how the hell they managed that.)
