Lip Exfoliator?

So with the cold weather, dry heat and being so congested I have to breath through my mouth half the time, my lips have gotten so chapped.

I used Blistex, Chapstick, etc, but it just seems to mositures the dead skin- but the dead skin is still there.
It feels so gross.

Is there something they sell that will kind of exfoliate all that dead stuff off my lips?
Like a lip loofah?

Re: Lip Exfoliator?

I believe benefit has one. I've used this one before and really liked it. Its an exfoliator and then a silky lip balm.

you don't need anything fancy...just use a dry toothbrush to gently exfoliate the skin off

Re: Lip Exfoliator?

Mary Kay lip mask and lip balm. The mask is really a product that has the exfoliating crystals so you would use it and them take it right off. I have Mary Kay rep if you need one and she will not try to sell you a ton of extra stuff unless you want her to.

Bath & Body sells one in a green tube (C.O. Bigelow exfoliator) I use it and love it.

I make my own. I have a small portable tin with some lip balm and I put some sugar in it and mixed it. Works perfect!

I make my own too.

Sometimes I will dab a little St. Ives Apricot Scrub with Baby Oil or Olive Oil and scrub/exfoliate the dead skin.

Sometimes I will use sugar.........

Sometimes it needs to be done more than once.......and scrubbing your lips with a toothbrush works even better.

I hate this time of year for this reason also! Chat Icon

Re: Lip Exfoliator?

I exfoliate my lips in the shower.

I let the hot water run on my face and then I just rub my lips with my fingers.

Dead skin comes right off.
