I don't have any suggestions for filling up the TV unit but I would stay in the red color theme, I think rooms look way more put together when accessories are all in the same color...

They were from tiffany dinettes about 4 years ago !! this is the set I had in my apt and I want to sell it on craigs list and buy a nicer set!

if you are going to do red accents... RUN NOW TO MARSHALLS or tjmaxx or home goods.
all the christmas stuff is super cheap. you will find lots of stuff that you can use. i had red accents in my last house and bought all my stuff at marshalls. i got things, a bunch of vases and stuff for under 10.00 each.
also, remember valentines day too. after valentines day you will find lots of red things too... candles, etc...
