If your DC is a thumb sucker.....
If your DC is a thumb sucker, did he/she develop a callus on the thumb. DD is 7.5 months and an avid thumb sucker, but now she has rough, raw, red skin on her thumb. What should I do? Is this ok?

my dd is 2 1/2 has a callous..... shes had it forever. She used to suck her thumb all the time, now just at bedtime. I dont know how we will ever break this habit.

My DS will be 4 months next week and he started to suck his thumb for the past month mostly at night, he has a red mark on his thumb

I think Riley is developing one too. I feel bad, she already has a blistering disorder. I've been trying to layer her hands in aquaphor....that might help. It doesn't look as bad as it did the first time I noticed it.

DD is 3.5 and still a thumb sucker. Haven't noticed anything (except her thumb nail never needs to be cut!  ) , but there not much I can do to get her to stop!

DS is 8 months & constantly sucks on his pointer/middle finger...both fingers are raw/swollen & chapped

Same for Sarah, she's just about 5 years old.
