Wine Glasses - constant issue

I have had so many wine glasses break on me, simply by hitting something in the sink.

Yes, I buy the cheapo ones at Target.

Would it make a difference if I purchased more expensive ones? If so, I will do that.

I now have one left, and it's a heavy duty one, from my mom's collection. It looks like crystal, but it's not. But it sure is sturdy.

I won't buy plastic ones, because...I just don't like plastic. Chat Icon

Ideas?

I don't think it's necessarily how much you spend on them. I bought margarita glasses at the $1 store last year and those things are thick as anything!!
More expensive may also mean more delicate

The more expensive one are actually more delicate so I would stick to the cheap one. Did you try the dollar store?

Or try the stemless wine glass. Like this.

I bought 6 stemless ones at Crate and Barrel for $1.99 a pop, they're the only glasses I've EVER had that haven't broken.
