tv on the wall and hidden cable boxes
Does anyone know how to do this. I want to hang my 52 inch tv on the wall but dont want my cable boxes to be visible. I know you can keep them in the closet with something like "red eye" but not sure where to start.
Any advise would be great.

Let's see...basically, DH cut holes in the walls to hide the speaker wires. He put the cable box in the closet on the other side of the room. He attached some sort of infared attachment to the tv itself and the receptor is by the cable box.

DH did this in our bedroom. DH ran the wires for the cable box through the wall behind the TV and into the basement. DH put the cable box in the basement and we have a red eye unit from radio shack. i love it. we have no space for a table in our Bedroom for the TV so this works out great.

smarthome.com has the piece that you affix to your TV that allows you to put the cable boxes in the closet or basement. It's basically an infrared type thing and works very well

Same but for us the closet is just behind the TV
