Is there such thing as a 'home buying class'?
A class to teach first time homebuyers what to expect, what to look for and such??

they have counseling for mortgages but not the entire home buying process at Long Island Housing partnership.

they actually do have a class on the whole buying process. I took it back in 2006. I still havent bought yet but it was a great class.

Yes, many banks offer these courses. Look into your bank to see if they offer it at certain branches. I know the NEFCU does at the Westbury branch.
