HELP! I burned my counter top
We rent so its not even MY counter top. Anyway i was making something in the wok on the back burner and all of a sudden i hear a popping noise i look and the flame had spread on to the back splash of the stove. To explain the situation its a very old stove that is built into the counter its not a seperate stove so the back of the stove is the backslapsh which is teh same material as the counter top and its formica i think. Anyway I have about a half dollar size burn mark. Is there anythign to do to repair this?

Re: HELP! I burned my counter top
can you post or fm a picture of it? usually once formica burns, you can't get it out but depending on how bad it is, you may be able to scour it down a bit. try to make a paste of baking soda and water, and use that to scrub it.
