washer dryer in one...
Is there such a thing? I overheard one of my relatives talking about this where you put your clothes in dirty and when the cycle is done, your clothes and clean and dry.
Are they crazy?

LG has one even in full size and I think it even comes with the steam feature.

Re: washer dryer in one...
I had one in my old apartment.
It was small, so you couldn't do much, but you REALLY couldn't do much otherwise it would take forever to dry. I think my clothes air dried faster than that thing dried them...
Convenient in a pinch but really only good for one or two items. Most of the time I still went back to my parents' house to do laundry.

Re: washer dryer in one...
The guy that lives upstairs from me has one. He said it spins the clothes dry.....its a super high speed spin. And let me tell you when it spins it sounds like the house is going to come down.
He also said he spent over 1500 for it.

Re: washer dryer in one...
We have one I think it is a LG and I love it It washes very good but yes the drying takes a while. We really only use the dryer for towels and linens. We have one of those racks and hangs our cloths to dry. The washer does spin high so most of the water is out and it only takes a few hours to air dry. You can fit a descent amount of stuff in it but not nearly as much as a normal washer. I would say that it holds about as much as the small washers at the laundry mat the only difference is that you don't have to lug your laundry there and can do it in your own home.
And yes when it is on the spin cycle it shakes the house but only for a few minutes so it isn't that much of a problem

Re: washer dryer in one...
we have one- its a malber- I think its an italian brand? it is about the size of a dishwasher and fits a small load... its ideal for the set-up of our coop- we have a small kitchen and its in there
have to be honest- doing a load of laundry takes a year and a day and it wouldn't be good if we had kids, right now its just me and dh so it suits us ok.
