Christmas Gift for In Home Baby Sitter
So what is a typical gift to pay your babysitter. She watches DD in her house 4 days a week and she's excellent. I'm not sure what to get her.....

last year, my friend and I got her a coach wallet - my funds are extremely limited this year so I got her a $50 GC

I was reading that most people give one weeks salary...is this for Nanny's or Babysitters? We are on a limited budget also this year and that would stretch us pretty thin.

That's what I do. Could you possibly give her half a weeks pay & a small gift. Box of chocolates, gloves, scarf etc..
