Where can I find a swim shammy (shammie)?
I stupidly let my husband order on for my God daughter and it came and it's totally the wrong thing. So, now I need one before christmas. I checked the sports store websites and I can't find any. Who has a swimmer in the fam and can tell me where to get one. It's for a 12 year old who despartely wants to be like the cool girls on her swim team who have them.
TIA..
(baby is sick and I can't run to a million stores looking for them and my online search is turning up nada!)

I was kind of hoping to find a store that sold them. I don't know if I have time for shipping now and I am already losing the shipping cost on the item that my DH got and I don't want to pay for shipping from another company, KWIM?

Gotcha. What if you tried Safe T Swim or a pool store (Like Island Rec or Leslies Pool Supply)?

It's spelled Chamois.  Or you can search for "sport towel".

You should be able to find a swim chamois in any major sporting goods store - D!ck's, Modells, etc. - year round.
I used to swim year round and never had trouble finding goggles, chamois, etc. year round.

I used to be a competitive swimmer. You should be able to find it at any sporting goods store. Or try Speedo, Adolf Keifer, Tyr, etc. Are there swim meets going on? In MA where I grew up there were always a vendor or two at the major meets selling bathing suits, caps, towels, etc. You might be able to actually just buy it at a meet.
