living room decorating help

So 1st there is a kinda funny story, Dh has been complaining he wants new furniture, but with a newborn at home the last thing i wanna do is go furniture shopping. So i joke with him and tell him to go pick out furniture himself. Well he went the other day on his lunch and bought furniture .

Its not my 1st choice, but its not horrible either, ite being delivered this week.

So anyway here is the pic of the set he bought and my living room now. I need help with paint color choices.

With those colors I think you can really go with any color. Above the couch, is that a picture or a mirror? If its a picture, what colors are in it, and is it staying.

Its a mirror, but it will be going. I will be using that wall for our wedding pic and pic of my baby.

We are going to get a flat screen which will replace the huge entertainment center.

What about a sage green? It's very soothing and goes great with brown.

I love slate blue and brown together. But a light slate blue. Or even a light grey would look nice. Check out my Master Bedroom Pics. I have brown and blue in my room. The wall color is Benjamin Moore - Brittany Blue. And you DH did a pretty good job picking out the furniture by himself.

Our couch is close in color. We have a medium brown paint on the walls.
