Temporary curtain rod
So our back door is in our guest room. We're having our first guests stay over in a couple weeks so I need to find a temporary curtain rod to put up over the windows on the door. I dont want anything permanant bc after they leave I want to be able to go back to just having the windows. Does anyone know where I can get something like this? I really can't remember ever seeing one anywhere!

Re: Temporary curtain rod
just buy a tension rod- they sell them anywhere that has regular curtain rods
its a rod that has springs on each end and you just fit it between the window- or in your case the door
it goes up in 10 seconds and comes down just as easy

Re: Temporary curtain rod
Im dont think that would work bc there's nothing for the rod to go between, KWIM? Like in the bathroom, the shower curtain has the inside of the shower to keep it up. I dont have anything like that around the door. I hope I explained that right?!
I was thinking maybe along the lines of something that had magnets on the ends? IDK.

Re: Temporary curtain rod
I bought a heavy paper window shade from HD last year. It has double-sided tape on the top, so you just peel and stick. It's been "temporary" for a year now....

Re: Temporary curtain rod
is the door metal? if so home depot carries magnetic curtain rod brackets. they stick right to the door & come down easily. i used them for a similiar situation & they were perfect.
