If you have Time Warner Cable, how much do you pay?

We have the Triple Play package (phone, internet, and cable with 1 dvr hd box and 1 regular NON dvr box) plus HBO.

We were paying $170 a month and now they upped it to $200 a month (this includes all taxes etc).

I think this is ridiculous. I'm wondering if this is the going rate. I'm also wondering if it would really save us money to maybe remove the phone service (we don't REALLY need it, although our cells don't work well in every room of our apartment).

we just signed on with TW (my dh's idea, I personally hate the service)

we have the bundle (cable, internet and phone) no showtime or HBO, 2 dvr digital cable boxes and we pay about 140 a month all inclusive (we are in the introductory rate period though)

I DON'T have the triple plaly - we just have cable & Internet, with 1 DVR and 1 non-DVR box. No pay channels because I refuse to give them another dime. We pay about $140/month.

BTW, I HATE them, but they're our only option.

Rates go up in January, just got my new bill.
Sorry I can't help much, the co-op negotiates a bulk rate valid for 3 years, so I pay about $132 for 3 HD boxes, one of which is DVR, Earthlink internet, and get HBO as part of the bulk rate.

Cutting the phone barely saves anything...I asked them - $12 a month

One flippin sixty for internet, phone and basic cable with dvr service. We have NO options and they suck. Last night, GLEE stopped at the 47 minute mark.

I have triple play, but only 1 box and no extras (like HBO or showtime) i think with taxes it comes to around $110/month

we were quoted something similar from Time Warner and decided to try out RCN, even though we had never heard of them. They were literally half the price so we figured it was worth a shot...

We pay about $75 for high speed internet (not their lowest high speed, their medium one and its VERY fast and we never have issues) and hd/dvr service (one box, one tv). No landline phone - our cells work great and we never used a landline when we had it.

We actually have had no problems at all with RCN (knock on wood). I do think we have an introductory rate but when that is over it should only go up $20-30.

We pay about 150/mon for RR turbo, DVR, all the cable stuff and we have 1 HD box and 1 non HD box as well as HBO.

We are on a 24 month price lock so we get a 17$ credit every month

We have digital cable, 2 boxes, HBO and Cinemax (both are On-Demand, also), and DVR......we have the Roadrunner Turbo cable internet and pay about $100. (DH's job pays for our internet).

I just don't use the phone with them, I have a landline.

TW is ridiculous... but we need to use them b/c their internet is the fastest in our area and DH is in IT and works from home a lot.

We pay $175 for phone, internet, and cable. We pay extra for DVR and RR Turbo. We don't have any premium channels.

Did your promotional time end with them? You only get the Triple Play rates for the first year (and as an aside, when they came out with that, we were already customers, so we didn't qualify )

Yeah, our promotional period ended.

And I knew getting rid of the phone wouldn't be much, but only $12?!? That's ridiculous!

Thanks for the poster above who mentioned RCN. That's the only other option we have, but I didn't know if they were any good or not. Maybe we'll try it out.

2 cable boxes..one with DVR n HD.... and internet...no phone... we also get HBO.... we pay around 117 a month
I know the phone only costs 12 dollars a month BUT i feel we wouldnt use it due to the amount of minutes on our cell... plus 12 dollars a year is equal to a 144 dollars in ur pocket.. If u don't need the phone get rid of it.. :)

We locked in our rate last year for 2 or 3 years and are currently paying about $110 for cable and internet. We have one DVR box and no premium stations.
