appliance repair....
does anyone know if it is cheeper to go through sears (it is a kenmore fridge) or find a private person for a repair??

I have used an individual repair guy. When I called Sears they quoted me some high fee just to come out.

that was what i was thinking... they want 90.00 just to put the call in and that doesnt even include labor or parts.... and i know it is going to be something stupid... the flap on the ice maker doesnt close after it dispenses ice... that is it
