Please recommend your OBGYN associated with Winthrop
I have been debating over the past few weeks switching my drs. I am 7 mths pregnant so I know it's a little crazy but I have to feel comfortable with the rest of this pregnancy as far as medical advice, care, and most importantly delivery.
Can anyone tell me their OBGYN in Nassau (Winthrop) and why you love them? A doctor who is patient with first time moms....

I go to Dr. Dolisi in Garden City. He is affliated with Winthrop. He is very patient, kind and has a great bedside manner. He is also a great Dr. who works with his patients and looks out for their best interest. The down side is he and his partner Dr. Hanuaer are very popular, so the office is always packed.

I go to university plaza ob in garden city, love them!
Dr Rosenberg is the only one I have seen though there are two others in the practice. I would absolutely recommend them

call and request a copy of ALL of your medical records. They must give it to you, however, they will probably demand that you come in to pick it up.. (the dont really mail records or fax etc.)

i dont know if they are accepting new patients. i was there last week and heard the receptionist tell someone on the phone they werent but that u could still see the nps (although that confuses me)...not sure if this was just for hanuaer or for both.

Dr zandieh..
i sswitched to him at 28 weeks my last pregnancy and would never see anyone else..his office took care of getting everything from my last office for me..735-7900..hes never too busy to talk, answer questions etc..and his front desk is great

I agree- Kerry is great. I also recommend Dr. Dolisi if he is taking new patients. Although Dr. Hanauer is my doctor, he delivered DS because he was on call. He was funny and totally put me at ease. I would see him again in a heartbeat.

ditto. while i can't say that I love him, I love the way he takes care of me, if that makes sense.

I have seen two NP's in the office Kerry and Nancy. They both were great. I like Kerry a bit better but Nancy is good too. When I was there yesterday Dr. Dolisi did mention to me that he is talking to a great female OB about joining their office. I guess they have a huge patient load.

Love Dr. Hanuaer! And got to love Dr. Dolisi whom I never met until the day I gave birth (he was on call).
