They are removing all the walls downstairs and redoing the kitchen. We are also moving the stairs and the boiler to the breezeway

So you are just going to open up the whole space downstairs? That is great..are you adding square feet to the kitchen or just re-doing it?

Lisa there is carpet padding down on the deck and tarps everywhere.....
Where the stairs are is where the peninsula will be. It is going to be really nice....

Yes Jen a full dormer and even building over the garage.
I sent by there tonight and the house is sealed up tight. The builder put a huge tarp on the top and cleaned everything up

When I walked into the house last night and saw the stair case turned into a ramp I was like ***.....Just to think that the staircase and the boiler which is under iit, will not be there anymore....Is crazy.

Awesome. It's really cool watching the progress. It's also nice being there during the remodel so you can get pics of everything. I have pics of every stud in the wall, so I almost don't even need a stud finder to see where to hang things.

 I laugh b/c we did this too. Very convenient!!!!!!!!!

Thank you....My father in law did all the work to the house before. The dining room as it was - the dark red room will be extended into the other room in the back and all the trim will be continued along with the paint scheme to make our new living room/den.
