I do it b/c my older daughter had a febrile seizure due to fever last June although it had nothing to do with vaccinations, I worry about them having fevers ever since. I do wait several hours though. I usually get vaccinations in the morning so I may just give it at bedtime as a "just in case" but I think they would have had a fever already by then.

No. Thankfully, neither of my boys ever had a reaction to a vaccine.

Tommy just had his 4 month shota today. He did not have a fever but I gave him tylenol in case his thigh where the shots were given were sore :(

Well, I never gave him the tylenol and luckly he never developed a fever:)

I only gave DS tylenol after a fever developed.

i gave DD tylenol about 3-4 hours after her shots (2 months). she didn't have a fever, but where the shots were given she got red and swollen and was screaming in pain. the ped said to give her tylenol if she developed a fever or was in pain, so that's what we did.

Same here!

While I know people who do give it before hand, I never did and DS never had any reactions to his shots!
