Congrats!!!!! You never know with the closing. We have had our commitment letter for almost 1.5 months and the bank is still asking for stupid papers....closing could be soon or take a bit longer...depends on the underwriter

Oh, man! When I got my commitment my attorney was able to then schedule the closing. They were going to do it less than a week away but Thanksgiving got in the way so it's tomorrow.

To the OP, congrats!! I remember finally getting that letter and being SOOO relieved... If your process is like most of ours, the fun has yet to begin-- faxing in the same docs 10x over and just playing the waiting game  Hope you have a much faster and easier process than we did!!!

I have to say I haven't had to fax the same things over and over like many say. Then again, I still have another day so who knows what will happen.

Pop a bottle of champagne! You know me, I'm always prepared with the alcohol. lol
Then we are measuring the rooms upstairs and ripping the carpet off the stairs to find out if I need to recarpet them or if they are hardwood. can't wait!
What are you guys going to do?

Well, first Vin is required to carry me over the threshold... then we can get our drink on!!! You know me... 
I would like to use my brand new steam cleaner to clean all the rugs before any furniture gets in there on friday... Change the locks as welll... And take some measurements...
